Midas Capital plc (MDS) is the ultimate parent company. MDS plc has three divisions involved in Fund Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Finance and Broking. MDS plc is headquartered in Exeter, with offices in Liverpool, Bournemouth, Falmouth, Guernsey, Plymouth, Northampton, Reading and Capetown. Intelli Corporate Finance Ltd has offices in London and Edinburgh.
MDS plc, formerly iimia MitonOptimal plc, has expanded rapidly since it was formed in 2001. Originally conceived as a private client investment manager founded by two legal firms in Exeter and a team of financial service industry professionals, the group has expanded geographically and in the range and scale of activities covered.
In August 2004 MDS merged with Exeter Investment Group plc. In September 2005 we acquired Intelli, our Corporate Services business. In July 2006 MDS sold its Funds Administration business. In July 2007 it completed the aquisition of Falmouth based IFA J K Miln & Co. In October 2007 we completed the merger with fund manager MitonOptimal Group Ltd and in March 2008 we completed the merger with Midas Capital Partners Ltd a Liverpool based fund management company.
